Anderson vII pg521-522 - letter #554

I have heard, my dear Countess, that there is a druggist’s here, to which letters to you can be sent; for I thought that you might not have been able to read what I wrote to you about the trio [Opus 97] – I see that the violin and cello parts have already been copied.  I am sending them to you herewith.  You may use them as long as you like, until I give them to be engraved – Your dear daughter M[imi]’s letter has given me much pleasure.  I hope soon to see her and her dear mother and all the members of her family.  And this I shall arrange to do as soon as ever I can – All good wishes, dear Countess, from

                                                           your true friend
                                                                                      Beethoven

Brauchle must visit me as soon as he sets foot in town. I am always available in the morning until about 12 o’clock.
